  • Film (8mm & 16mm) is transferred to Betacam sp (hi-end videotape for archiving, should last 50 years before signs of deterioration), to
  • DVcam (master copy, for making raw footage copies and for downloading into computer via firewire using DV deck) to,
  • VHS for client viewing/edit notes) to,
  • computer hard drive (for editing and dvd authoring) output to,
  • dvd (viola!)

 
 

1) Loading the film onto Rank Cintel®.

 

 

2) Film is first transferred, using DVNR-digital noise reduction, and correcting

for color and contrast to make old and faded film look better, to Betacam SP for archival purposes.

3) The raw footage is then
dubbed-down to a DVCam for
downloading into computer.

 

4) Using Final Cut Pro® and Dvd Studio Pro® the footage is then edited and a dvd is produced including chapter stops, narration, music, fades, photos, etc.

5) The final footage is downloaded onto a dvd with custom labeling. Get as many copies as you like
to share with family and friends.

Note: VHS, HI-8 and any
video tape format rescue/transfers also available.
Remember, your video tape will only last 10-12
years before showing signs of deterioration.
